Well originally I didnt get a pup from the breeding of buster and missy (jeffs coon dog who is as hard or harder of hunter than Buster was from what I've heard) but someone wanted to give one up so realizing my mistake I took him.

So now out of my hunting buddies we have kept 4, 2 will be trained for hogs 2 for treeing.  They are nearly 4 months old now, and looking very good, already working well with scent drags. I could be wrong, but I seriously doubt there will be a cull out of the bunch. I'm being biased I'm sure but the one I got is the best looking one as far as looks go (also the biggest). He turned out to be a saddleback.

He has a very good temperment,  and gets along with all my other dogs.  I dunno yet if they will be early starters or late bloomers but a lot of time and patience will be put into these dogs because of their breeding and potential and it's awesome watching them already.... Grin

Will try to get some pictures of mine today and the rest in the next few days.

Update on the pups, we have ended up keeping 3, 2 hog dogs 1 squirrel dog, they are almost 8 months old now and hunting. I have been really impressed with the 2 hog dogs, they stay constantly busy. From what I have heard about the squirrel dog it's the same. They are showing tons of promise. I'll try to get some pictures this weekend.

They are rough as hell right now, pretty much straight catching but, R L got cut some last weekend so I'm hoping he'll start backing off some.
